Matt Bailey has been in ordained ministry since 2015, and came to First Methodist Lockhart in August 2025. He has a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and is an elder in the Global Methodist Church. He was born and raised in Houston. Matt and his wife Jennifer have three children: Jesse, Emma, and James.
